Quote of the Week: Responsibility, Perseverance and Resilience

Today I call foul on any notion of an inability to succeed, flourish and positively affect the lives of others through the efforts and causes of my work.

I believe it is my responsibility to fly high and soar like an eagle. Therefore, [I will] “soar on wings like eagles; [I will] run and not grow weary, [I will] not grow weary, [I will] walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31. I am renewed, and my responsibility is to soar. I am always soaring.

Perseverance: I am built to persevere and succeed. I am equipped to “make every effort to add to [my] faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge, self-control; and self-control, and perseverance, godliness…for if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep [me] from being ineffective and unproductive.” 2 Peter 1:5. My steadfast determination abounds, in my successes, works, deeds and service. I persevere in my dedication to success and good works. I am always persevering.

Resilience: I am pliant in my actions, even those times when I yearn to stiffen and protect my spirit…and my heart attempts to erect barriers to protect me from the work. I am flexible, I recoil and snapback. I am resilient.

I soar, shine and succeed.

Respectfully,
