A tasty smoothie featuring Kale, Almonds and Turmeric Root.

Green KAT Smoothie

I woke up with a hunger for a green smoothie…I wanted it to be a little different

  • 1/2 cup Rainbow Lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Kale
  • 1/2 cup Spinach
  • 1 piece Tumeric Root (1 inch)
  • 3 each Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Almond Milk
  • 6 each Green Grapes
  • 3 chunks Pineapple
  • 1/2 ice (crushed)
  1. Add each item in order, then blast for 20 seconds until smooth.

Early one morning, I woke up with a hunger for a green smoothie…I wanted it to be a little different, offer something slightly interesting.  As a pondered and began pulling together “green things” I had in the refrigerator.  The Betting On Me –  Green KAT was born.  The Green KAT offers rainbow lettuce, kale, spinach, Tumeric root, almonds and almond milk, green grapes and pineapple… the perfect blend for an “interesting green smoothie!
